ChequeMate Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using ChequeMate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use ChequeMate.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.

You will be notified of significant changes through the app or via email.

ChequeMate is a mobile and web application designed to help you manage your cheques efficiently. Key features include:

• Cheque Management: Create, update, view, and delete information about cheques (both issued and received)

• Dashboard: View glanceable information including cheques due soon (separated by issued and received), financial inflow/outflow data, overdue cheque alerts, and recent activity

• Smart Notifications: Receive timely reminders for cheque due dates

• Photo Capture: Capture and store photos of cheques using your device's camera

• Parties Management: Maintain a list of parties (payees/payers) associated with your cheques

• Search: Search through your cheque records and parties

• Cloud Sync: Sync your data across multiple devices using secure cloud storage

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.

To use ChequeMate, you may be required to create an account:

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use ChequeMate

• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account

You agree not to use ChequeMate to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

• Track cheques or financial information that you do not have legal authority to access

• Capture or store photos of cheques that you do not own or have legal authority to photograph

• Use the app for any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purpose

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or servers

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the ChequeMate application

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app or its content without permission

• Use automated systems or bots to access the app

• Misuse camera permissions for purposes other than capturing cheque photos

Important disclaimers regarding financial data:

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all cheque and financial information you input into ChequeMate

• ChequeMate is a tracking tool and does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice

• We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on information in the app

• You should verify all financial information independently with your bank or financial institution

• We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from use of ChequeMate

• Consult with qualified professionals for financial, legal, or tax matters

Your data belongs to you:

• You retain full ownership of all data you input into ChequeMate

• We do not claim ownership of your cheque or financial information

• You can export or delete your data at any time

• We use your data only to provide and improve ChequeMate services

• Your data is stored securely and encrypted as described in our Privacy Policy

ChequeMate offers optional cloud synchronization:

• Cloud sync allows you to access your data (including cheque photos) across multiple devices

• Your data, including photos, is encrypted both in transit and at rest

• Data is stored in secure UAE data centers

• You can disable cloud sync at any time in app settings

• We are not responsible for data loss (including photos) if you disable cloud sync and lose access to your device

• We maintain backups, but you should also maintain your own backups of important information and photos

ChequeMate may offer premium features or subscriptions:

• Premium features are subject to additional terms and pricing

• Subscription fees are stated in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise specified

• Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled

• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise

• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

• Failure to pay subscription fees may result in loss of access to premium features

All rights reserved:

• ChequeMate, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Spryngr Technologies

• The app is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws

• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app without written permission

• You may not use Spryngr or ChequeMate trademarks or logos without consent

• You may not create derivative works based on ChequeMate

We strive to provide reliable service but:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

• The app may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues

• We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time

• We are not liable for service interruptions or temporary unavailability

• We may release updates that modify features or require you to update the app

• Continued use of the app may require you to accept updates

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:

• Spryngr shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for ChequeMate in the 12 months preceding the claim

• We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from use of the app

• We are not responsible for data loss due to user error, device failure, or disabling cloud sync

• We are not liable for third-party services or integrations

• You use ChequeMate at your own risk

You agree to indemnify and hold Spryngr harmless from:

• Any claims arising from your use of ChequeMate

• Your violation of these Terms of Use

• Your violation of any rights of others

• Any inaccurate or fraudulent information you input into the app

• Any costs, damages, or expenses we incur as a result

We may terminate or suspend your access to ChequeMate:

• Immediately for breach of these terms

• With 30 days' notice for any reason

• Upon non-payment of subscription fees (for premium features)

• If you violate applicable laws or regulations

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the app or contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use ChequeMate will cease immediately, and we may delete your data subject to our Privacy Policy.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.

Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
